Update

Excuse the tardiness on my latest recap. I've been very busy with a number of pressing things. Look for a double whammy of Matsuzaka fun coming your way with the detailed analysis of Matsui vs. Ichiro I and the upcoming start vs. Toronto.

Apologies to my loyal readers.....

Chacin is 5-0 lifetime against the Red Sox. For some reason we can't beat the guy, regardless of the situation.

With our new boy on the hill, hopefully the tides will turn on Chacin and the Jays.

I like how I refer the the Sox as we, to you, a Yankee fan. You'll come around some day. I mean, look at Boston's rotation compared to New York's.

Great Blog, great comments...
It is so nice to finally find a place where the real baseball lovers get together and exchange the HEALTHY opinions....

Even though Dice-K seems to be struggling a little bit for the last two outings (well, maybe just a couple of innings, rather...), I think he will finetune himself and will start winning some games for the Red Sox very soon.

I think he has to get used to the MLB balls, and the pitcher's mound (In US). To me he still seems to have a little problem specially with his cutters, and sliders. I believe it has a lot to do with the defference between MLB balls and NPB balls. I also heard Shigetoshi Hasegawa (former Seatle pitcher) saying Dice-K must be having difficulty adjusting himself to the US pitcher's mound that has sort of defferent feel from the monds in Japan. (Hasegawa said Dice-K must be trying to change how much he steps forward with his left feet at every delivery)

All the Japanese pitcers in US must have gone through some kind of adjustment problem, and I am not saying this to kind of back my own country star up, but it must be particularly hard for the kind of pitcher as Dice-K is, who throws 6~8 kinds of pitches in corners, with the precise mechanics.

I am truly looking forward to his start against the Yankees, knowing how Dice-K is a worrior, how he hates to lose against the good teams. He is a true worrior. Don't be fooled by that smile....
